Coach Kuehl served two stints as head coach of the White Hawks. He also coached the Varsity team from 2007-11, with the 2010-11 team ranked as high as 4th in the state. Coach Kuehl has coached Volleyball, Hockey and Baseball at the Varsity level, winning conference championships in all 3 sports. In 2020-21 after finishing the regular season undefeated, Kuehl and Co-Coach Claire Goldsmith were selected as Section Coaches of the Year. He has now coached in both the Baseball and Girls Hockey State Tournaments. He started coaching hockey in the MWHA youth program. in 2010 he copcoached the u19 Ice Cats with ex Olympian and North Star player Tom Hirsch to the first Championship won by a Minnesota team at the NAHA tournament in Vermont. He is proud to have had over 25 former players go on to play at the collegiate level. Fun Fact: Coach Kuehl's 2000 State Runner Up Baseball team at Lester Prairie was inducted into the school's Hall of Fame.
